The apocalypse has dawned upon us

I woke up to a text notification at 830am in a dark room, with orange glow peeking through the blinds. I thought it was maybe 6am.

Due the crazy heat waves (and stupid parents-to-be having explosive gender-reveal parties) causing numerous wildfires around the area, the air has been laden with smoke and ashes ready to fall upon us.

Today, the sky has been this eerie, beautiful, dark orange all day.
